Erik Bjornsen is Methow Valley born and raised – graduate of Liberty Bell High School and the Methow Valley Nordic Team. As a member of the U.S. Ski Team for nearly a decade, and competing in 2 Olympics, Erik has traveled around the globe chasing his dreams in the World cup circuit.

Marine, originally from France, spent over a decade as a dedicated athlete on the French National Biathlon team before moving to Anchorage at 24. She competed for the University of Alaska-Anchorage, where she won multiple NCAA races. Even now, she enjoys competing for fun, winning events like Alaska's largest running marathon in 2020 and the 2019 Ski Classic Worldloppet in Iceland.
From 2017 to 2020, Marine coached the University of Alaska Anchorage ski team and was honored to be named Coach of the Year in 2020. Her love for skiing and adventure continues to inspire everything we do at WMS.
